YADESA Summer School on “AI-Enhanced Social Science Research” will be held in English between July 06–11, 2026, at the Ibn Haldun University Başakşehir campus. Supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), the YADESA Project aims to strengthen computational social sciences capacity in Istanbul by equipping researchers with advanced AI and NLP skills. During the program, participants will work on hands-on group projects and present their AI-based text analysis research at the end of the program.
YADESA Summer School is open to applications from social scientists located in Istanbul who are interested in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods in social sciences research.
The program will be conducted at two different levels: foundational and advanced. Students, researchers, and academics in the field of social sciences based in Istanbul can apply. The advanced program is intended for winter school graduates. Capacity is limited. Accommodation and meals will be provided for participants.
