Assist. Prof. Stephen Siu Kay On from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Ibn Haldun University presented his paper titled “Daoist Nature and God’s Creatures” at the Marmara Political Science Congress, organized by Marmara University’s Faculty of Political Science on Sunday, November 28, 2025. In his presentation, Assist. Prof. Kay On offered an in-depth analysis of Daoism’s perspective on the relationship between nature and humanity, discussing the influence of this philosophical approach on modern societies.
The congress, held under the theme “Interaction, Criticism, and Innovation”, featured enriching academic discussions among participants. Dr. Kay On's presentation contributed to the overall theme of the event, addressing the influence of cultural and ethical perspectives on societal structures. Along with other presentations, significant discussions in the field were brought to the forefront.
