Our faculty member from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Ibn Haldun University, Assoc. Prof. İdlir Lika, has been awarded the second prize in the 2021 Richard Gillispie Mediterranean Prize with his article titled “Nationhood cleavages and ethnic conflict: A comparative analysis of postcommunist Bulgaria, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.” Published in the 28th volume, issue 3 of the journal Mediterranean Politics, the article examines ethnic and nationalism-related conflicts in the Mediterranean region, providing a comparative analysis of societal divisions in post-communist Bulgaria, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
